This article announces the American Educational Research Association meeting in Chicago, Illinois of the Special Interest Group of Research on Learning and Instruction in Physical Education. The meeting will celebrate the ten-year anniversary of the "Journal of Teaching in Physical Education." The Journal was created by Mike Metzler and Mark Freedman in response to the paucity of journal outlets for research on teaching and teacher education. The visibility of the Journal has expanded internationally as significant contributions have come from researchers from various countries.
