ABSTRACT
This article summarizes the finding of the researchers who set out to study the work methods and the beliefs of effective teachers of physical education at the elementary school level. They did so by examining seven such teachers possessing different degrees of experience in the profession. The effectiveness they bring to teaching is enhanced by the job satisfaction they enjoy and their commitment to what they do. All were significant affected when children disappointed them or when a student was rude, insolent or showed a lack of appreciation for the efforts of the teacher. All of the persons studied revealed persistence, enthusiasm and dedication.
