ABSTRACT
This article discusses a model that could help teachers to apply research findings in their classroom settings. It has been found that teachers usually don't implement research-based recommendations because the complexity of doing so prevents positive change. Most research questions that are developed are set by the agendas of the researchers or the funding agency and don't apply to the actual consumer. Also, research projects often take so long that by the time there are results and recommendations are proposed, they have become outdated.
