ABSTRACT
This article examines the variables that make a physical education teacher less or more effective. The authors cited research which showed that teachers who were rated as more effective praised their students more often than those rated less effective. Also, higher rated teachers were found to be better classroom managers, who presented their students with clearer learning objectives than lower rated teachers.
