ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the use of evaluation in public school physical education programs. A survey collected data on the methods used to determine and report student performance in physical education programs in the Florida public school system. Physical education teachers were asked whether or not exams were used in physical education classes and if so, what types of exams were used and how they assessed student performance.
