ABSTRACT
The article presents several products related to cable connections. Motorola Inc. introduces DCT3080, a dual-tuner set-up digital video recorder and DCC100, a digital satellite box. A line of digital boxes was launched by the Scientific Atlanta Inc. which are designed to support OpenCable Application Platform and the CableCARD. DOCSIS Set-top Gateway, a reference design for cable set-top box was recently launched by Texas Instruments Inc.
