ABSTRACT
The reports on the opinions received by Chancellor Gordon Brown from commentators in the financial services industry after a shock shake-up of inheritance tax trust rules in the March 2006 budget. Skipton Financial Services managing director Simon Holt said that Brown's changes to legislation has already rocked consumer confidence and he will create more damage to the industry if he becomes prime minister. Holt added that he was just concerned of the people affected by the changes.
