I&C Modernization at Dukovany

The article reports on the modernization project for the instrumentation and control (I&C) system of power utility ÄŒEZ in the Czech Republic. Among the design requirements for replacement of the existing I&C system were to provide for long term operation and to ensure high level of safety and availability. The modernization project uses the SPINLINE 3 digital nuclear safety platform from Data Systems & Solutions.
