ABSTRACT
The article compares the financial performance of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in April and in the previous months in 2006. The production index decreased to 17 in April from 26 in March. In the other monthly indexes, the volume of shipments index increased to 9 from 12, while the volume of new orders index gained to 25 from 21, and the backlog of orders index increased to 9 from 2.
