ABSTRACT
The article reports on the bribery trials set for several public officials in Alabama. Former Governor Don Siegelman was accused of 30 counts of various charges including bribery and extortion. Siegelman's former chief of staff Paul Hamrick and former state transportation director Mack Roberts were also scheduled for trial on similar charges.
