ABSTRACT
The article provides information on the Windows Vista operating system from Microsoft Corp. Vista users could plug in their broadcast, cable and Internet services to their personal computer and watch programs from all of them through the same simple interface. According to David Alles, general manager of Microsoft's Electronic Home team, Vista will provide studios and other content suppliers with new security to protect everything from pay-per-view to downloads.
