The article presents a survey conducted by "Home Accents Today" which looks into the demographics of U.S. households that are buying and shopping for home accents. The survey examines home furnishings shopping and purchasing patterns in 2004 and buying plans for 2005. The research shows that consumers are more likely to purchase home accents on impulse when they see something in the store that catches their eye.
