ABSTRACT
The article reports on the proposed amendments to Rule G-27 by the U.S. Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board. According to Christopher Taylor, the board's executive director, the said amendments will not make any substantive changes to the rule but will boost the particularity of the rule's requirements instead. The amendment requires firms to conduct inspection cycles and define the issues that must be addressed in the inspection process and how it is recorded.
