ABSTRACT
The article reports on the recruitment of Representative Luke Messer to work for the lobbying division of Ice Miller in Indiana. Messer is the state lawmaker who recently voted in favor of the state leasing the Indiana Toll Road. He voted along with narrow majority to help pass the so-called Major Moves legislation that included the lease agreement. He said that his new job and his vote are completely unrelated.
