ABSTRACT
The article reports on the number of online job postings that appeared on leading Internet job boards in the U.S. in March 2006. According to economist Gad Levanon, the labor market picture remains obscure. During this period, the number of new advertisements is higher than the number posted during the summer months. Summer months are typically the peak period for hiring.
