ABSTRACT
The article reports on a planned English-language version of Al Jazeera, the hugely popular Arab news television channel. Scheduled to begin broadcasting in the spring, Al Jazeera International has yet to find a U.S. distributor. The channel is attempting to gain credibility with its hiring of investigative journalist Dave Marash as Washington anchor.
