The article reports on CW's signing of an affiliation deal with LIN TV, one of the larger independent station groups in the United States. It describes the other three other UPN stations operated by LIN. The article reports on the increase in CW's coverage to 81 percent of the country. CW is negotiating with Sinclair Broadcasting fo the last top-20 market.
