ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Juilliard School has hired producer, theater administrator and director James Houghton as its Richard Rodgers director of drama starting on 2006-07 academic and performance season. Juilliard's drama division is a four-year conservatory for actors and playwrights. Houghton will succeed Michael Kahn in the said position.
