Stabilizing Linoleic Acid by Complexation with α-Cyclodextrin

In the form of a molecular inclusion compound with α-cyclodextrin, linoleic acid effectively is protected against oxidation. Investigations into the storage and light stability, olfactory tests and headspace analysis of the formulations give evidence of the stability of a suitable inclusion compound.
