The article reports that the Union Bank of California is launching its Internet banking system webBanker, which is a FundTech system that uses the time-saving benefits of EPN STP 820, a low-touch electronic payments standard developed by the Electronic Payments Network (EPN). EPN STP 820 is backed by the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) and the Association for Financial Professionals. WebBanker collects all payment and remittance data to create an electronic data interchange transaction and a NACHA file.
