ABSTRACT
The article offers some tips on the use of several musical and music related instruments including drums, consoles and microphones while recording. Drums must be kept on the magic spot because this little extra effort of finding the magic spot can make a great difference. The exact tambourine or shaker must be chosen to fit the tone of a song. One should find the right microphone that suits a singer's voice. Acoustic compressor is suggested as the best compressor and baffles or gobos could be used to either direct or to compress the sound of a microphone.
