New Jersey Gets at Least 56 Responses For Transportation Trust Fund Deal RFP

The article reports on the numerous response from insurance companies and law firms received by the New Jersey federal government on its request for proposals to work on the state's upcoming refunding and restructuring of Transportation Trust Fund debt. At least 56 underwriting and law firms which responded to the request. In May 2006, the state is planning to come to market with the deal, which is expected to include 1.1 billion dollars on new money and 1.8 billion dollars of refunding.
