ABSTRACT
The article presents a tribute to the Village's founder, musician and composer Geordie Hormel who died on February 12, 2006 at the age of 77. Jeff Greenberg, Village CEO, describes Hormel as an intelligent, talented and modest man. Hormel composed music for about half of all filmed TV shows during the '50's and '60's. Pierce has been known to have produced, engineered and played a number of jazz, R&B and pop albums. Pierce composed the theme song for the TV series "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "America's Next Top Model."
