ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the recording of Cat Power's CD, titled "The Greatest". The CD was produced and engineered by Stuart Sikes. Sikes chose the Ardent Studios in Memphis, Tennessee for the recording of the CD. According to Sikes, a major part of the recording process was spent helping Cat Power get used to how the sound was played by a band.
