Watching a variety of electronic messages appear on the screen of an ATM, Monarch founder Mark Ruttenberg thought about the impact local advertising could have on neighboring businesses and local civic organizations. Ruttenberg's alternative to traditional media makes available to retailers an effective revenue-generating program of point-of-sale community awareness and advertising.
