MoCA finds second silicon source

The article reports that Israel-based silicon supplier Octalica Ltd. has joined the Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA), an organization behind a coax-based home networking scheme. Entropic Communications Inc., Comcast Corp. and EchoStar Communications Corp. are the founding members of MoCA. With its membership, Octalica is in line to license necessary patents tied to MoCA.
