ABSTRACT
The article reports on the transfer of newscaster Katie Couric to CBS Broadcasting Inc. in the U.S. The said move of Couric coincided with her 15th anniversary as host of NBC show "Today" and critics noted that this decision will put the show's ratings in danger. However, NBC is eyeing Meredith Vieira, host of American Broadcasting Corp.'s show "The View," as possible replacement of Couric.
