ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs concerning journalists in the U.S. as of March 2006. Mary Kay Magistad has been awarded for a series about stem cell research in the U.S., Great Britain, Israel and China. David Molpus has been appointed as executive editor for WVIZ/PBS and 90.3 WCPN ideastream, a multiple-media public service organization in Ohio. Thrity Umrigar launched her novel "The Space Between Us," published by HarperCollins.
