The article reports that the New York Business Conditions Index in the National Association of Purchasing Management-New York's Report on Business increased in March 2006. The index increased to 378.9 from 369.4 in February 2006. Meanwhile, the report's outlook/expectations index decreased 58.3 in March from 73.1 in February.
