ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Mississippi Legislature has approved more than $200 million in bond bills to fund the repairs and renovations at state buildings, economic development projects and an arts center. Governor Haley Barbour has already signed several bond bills which authorize the issuance of general obligation bonds for various projects. The breakdown of budget appropriations under the bond bills is given.
