ABSTRACT
The article reports on the request of Sacramento's treasurer asking the City Council to approve the formation of a private corporation that can issue taxable bonds. The Revitalization Organization projects include creating more parking spaces in the entire city. According to the Tom Friery, treasurer, if the City Council approves the new entity, will ask to issue eight million dollars in higher rate, taxable bonds to defease tax-exempt debt.
