Kentucky Budget Planners Hung Up on $740M Road Bond

The article reports on the proposal of the U.S. Senate of a 740 million dollar worth of bond. Through this proposal, the initiative of the lawmakers in Kentucky in working on the final details of the 2006-2208 budgets has been stopped. Proceeds of the bonds will be used for road projects. If the bond will be approved, it increases the amount of debt authorized for the next biennium to more than two billion dollar.
