The article focuses on the network of intelligence by all U.S. military services. The military services have pursued integration of their joint intelligence and reconnaissance sensor platforms to improve their ability to do time critical targeting operations. The author pointed out that the network is an Internet-like, global intelligence-sharing providing broad-based intelligence on a timely basis. Carriers and amphibious ships serves as workstations capable of handling compartmented data.
