Reports that researchers at London, England-based Guy's Hospital have discovered a gene that controls what type of tooth is grown, called Barx-1. Blockage of Barx-1 inhibitor called BMP4 responsible for incisor growth; Modification of incisor-producing cells in mice and caused them to grow molars; Researchers' interest in learning which genetic markers cause teeth to form in certain formation and position.
