ABSTRACT
The article focuses on competition among photographers to capture the highlights of the Dodge Charger 500 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway in South Carolina. The Dodge Charger 500 is a night race held every Saturday night before Mother's Day. According to photographer Scott Huffer, the Dodge Charger 500 is different because several activities are scheduled before the race that allows fans to settle in while waiting for the race.
