ABSTRACT
The article reports on the support of Albuquerque school board to a plan to raise property taxes to build schools and ease overcrowding in New Mexico. A schedule for asking for a tax increase and how large the increase should be was recommended by the school administrators. The district needs in 1.7 billion dollars to build schools and renovate aging facilities.
