ABSTRACT
The article features the VPFL short-pulse Ytterbium fiber lasers system developed by V-gen Ltd. in Ramat-Gan, Israel. The system operates as a sealed system in an all fiber configuration with which a reinforced fiber cable transmits output beam. The transistor-transistor logic circuit and the interfaces of the universal serial bus control of the system are capable of operating and adjusting the different laser parameters suitable for use in micro-machining, welding, and materials processing.
