The article presents updates on the International Childbirth Education Association in the U.S. Jeanette Schwartz was appointed to the board of directors. The board voted to change the process of applying for retroactive contact hours. The organization's redesigned Internet site will also debut in late April 2006. The 2006 convention of the organization will be held on October 4-8 in Portland, Oregon.
