ABSTRACT
The article reports on the scheduled session of the lawmakers that amid partisan and intra-party acrimony in Virginia. The lawmakers have been debating on various proposals for transportation including tax-increase plans that would raise money for new roads, that overlap with provisions in the proposed 74 billion dollars budget. Timothy M. Kaine, a democratic governor, has generated 3.74 billion dollars on his plan in extra revenue for transportation projects.
