The article presents the EcoHeart's high-efficiency permanent magnet motors and drives with a permanent magnet technology that attains 10 percent higher efficiency. An advanced sinusoidal motor current wave form allows the units to achieve low torque ripple, low vibration and acoustic noise, and reduced harmonics.
