ABSTRACT
The article reports that United States-based investment banking giant Morgan Stanley Co. Inc. has acquired Gary Lynch, legal chief of European rival Credit Suisse Group AG. Lynch was appointed as chief legal officer and a member of the bank's management committee with effect from October 2006. Lynch will be succeeding Donald Kempf who retire from Morgan after leading the bank's legal activities since 1999.
