ABSTRACT
The article reports law firm Eversheds has settled a negligence claim brought against it by investment adviser and fund manager London & Capital after the law firm failed in its £220 million attempt to acquire Saint James Capital's property portfolio in Great Britain. London & Capital lost a £300,000 commitment sum. The claim was issued in 2005, but both parties came to an amicable settlement which ended the legal proceedings.
