ABSTRACT
The article reports on career developments of book publishers in the U.S. David Allender has been appointed as vice president and editorial director of Scholastic Book Clubs. The latter was former Workman's children publishing director. Seth Fleischman and Juliette Shapland have been ordained by HarperCollins' ReganMedia as marketing manager and director of foreign rights respectively.
