ABSTRACT
The article reports on the overall manufacturing activity in the Fifth District in February 2006, according to the monthly business activity survey conducted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond which was released on February 28, 2006. It discusses the increase in the manufacturing index to zero in February from negative four in January. Shipments increased to positive two from negative seven.
