ABSTRACT
This article reports on an advertising campaign planned to launch by Glimcher Realty Trust as of July 12, 1999 to promote the Jersey Gardens shopping mall in New Jersey. Print advertisements will begin running in early October, about three weeks before the mall opens. Siddall, Matus & Coughter of Richmond, Virginia, is handling the campaign. A specific advertisement strategy and theme effort are still under construction, but, according to Susan Demeo, an account executive at the agency, the effort likely will highlight items such as apparel and jewelry rather than specific retailers.
