ABSTRACT
The article focuses on a report by Brian Postl, president and chief executive of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, on phase 2 of the federal Wait Times project in Canada, presented during a conference sponsored by the Canadian Health Coalition in January 2006. Phase 2 aims to tie evidence to benchmarks for a sustainable health care system, as well as outline the use of information technologies by physicians.
