Mississippi Development Bank Selling $51 M for Bridge Loans

The article reports that the Mississippi Development Bank is selling variable-rate special moral obligation bonds worth $51 million. The bonds will use to repay emergency relief bridge loans to cities, counties and other local government entities when Hurricane Katrina hit the state. The bonds have 20-year maturities and the interest rate will be reset weekly.
