ABSTRACT
The article reports that the U.S. Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board has filed an amendment with the Securities and Exchange Commission concerning its proposed definition of solicitation for use in G-37 and G-38. The board proposes to define solicitation as any communication made under circumstances reasonably calculated to obtain or retain municipal securities business for the dealer.
