ABSTRACT
The article reports that Clark County School District in Nevada will sell around $160 million in refunding bonds and intends to issue up to $500 million in new debt in November 2006 to fund the construction of about one new school building monthly in the Las Vegas area. According to Andy Artusa, managing director of Nevada State Bank, the issuance is a refunding of a 1996 issue combined with an advanced refunding of a 2002 issuance.
