ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Texas Department of Transportation has received an affirmation of investment-grade ratings from Standard & Poor's Corp. for $1.3 billion of bonds issued to finance the Central Texas Turnpike System. Texas Turnpike Authority's Series 2002A and Series 2002B toll revenue bonds were rated BBB-plus. The debt is insured by Ambac Assurance Corp.
